PERC Free
Perchloroethylene, or PERC, is a volatile organic compound (VOC) that poses a health risk to humans and a threat to the environment. It can cause dizziness, headaches, drowsiness, nausea, and skin and respiratory irritation. So to ensure your safety and comfort, and to help the environment, we at Reid’s chose to replace this volatile solvent with a new methodology. Our family doesn’t want PERC in our clothes, and we don’t want it in your family’s clothes, either.
We Support a Cleaner, Greener Environment
Reid’s is an active participant in the FabriClean Poly Recycle Program. 100% of the garment film collected at our locations are recycled to make other plastic products. Every ton of garment film collected helps save the equivalent of 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, 7000 gallons of water, 41 kilowatt hours of energy and 89 cubic feet of landfill space!
